When you complete the beginner's course in German, you will reach level A1 + A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): The beginner's language course will teach you the skills you need to communicate on a one to one level and in family situations. The basic vocabulary will give you the skills to understand well structured sentences and be able to communicate in writing using simple sentences. More information on the CEFR: Since 2001 there are Europe-wide standards to measure the level of language courses. These standards from the Common European Framework were established by the Council of Europe to clarify the language reference level for language skills across countries. Our language courses were developed according to these European standards.

In the daily trainer, you first read and listen to the vocabulary. The daily training automatically adapts to your individual learning level. Repetition is done alternately by showing and revealing the translation or by multiple choice exercises. The program also provides exercises on sentence structure. A separate verb trainer shows you how to conjugate verbs and use tenses in German. In addition, German grammar is presented step by step. The grammar is integrated into the daily trainer. Exercises are also presented to help you memorise grammar rules quickly and easily.
